The apartment is a spacious studio located in the heart of the East Village on the first floor of a walk-up building located on 6th Street between First Avenue and Second Avenue.
The apartment has three large windows facing the Street. The interior is quaint and fully furnished with a sofa, a dining table, a double bed that can be separated into 2 single beds, and kitchen appliances. It is perfect for vacationers who prefer the more local East Village feel and the freedom to do minor cooking. There is also a wireless Internet connection signal for your laptop and all local telephone calls are
free. All long distance calls can be made through a calling card.
The neighborhood is typical East Village with ethnic food restaurants being the predominant establishments. There are groups of Indian, East European, Japanese, and local restaurants within 3 block. For travelers with special dietary needs, there are vegetarian, vegan, macrobiotic, organic restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. Many of these places are opened late as well as 24 hr facilities such as diners, grocery stores, drugstores, newspaper
stands and delicatessens. There are also multiple cyder cafes and shops open 24 hours a day for all you Internet needs.
The apartment is located near multiple subway lines.
We are located about 8 minutes walking distance from the F and V trains and 15 away from the 6, N, and R trains.
Should you prefer to walk to New York City’s famous
landmarks, we are about 20 minutes from the heart of Chinatown, 15 minutes from Soho, 10 minutes from Union Square, and 30 minutes from City Hall and Wall street.
